Notifications and emails
Webmarlin tells you about sign-in, money, domains, forms and orders by email; the console itself has no notification centre. Only the form summary is something you switch on; the rest is sent when the event happens.
Emails to you
| When it arrives | |
|---|---|
| Welcome / confirm your email | You create an account; the link confirms your address |
| Reset your password | You use Forgot password? |
| Your verification code | You sign in with email-code two-factor; the code works once and expires |
| You have been invited | Someone shares a site with you; the link expires on the date shown |
| New submissions summary | New form entries, at most one email every 30 minutes, if you turned it on for the form (paid plans) |
| Domain purchase confirmed | A domain you bought is registered |
| Domain expiry reminder | 30 and 14 days before expiry with auto-renew on; 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before with it off |
| Domain renewed / renewal failed | After an automatic renewal; a failure includes the invoice to pay |
| Payment failed | A charge for your plan failed; update your card |
| Payment not completed | A plan checkout was not paid in time, so the site went back to the free plan; no data is lost |
| Subscription canceled | Your plan ends |
| New order | A customer paid in your shop |
| Order cancellation requested, shipping address updated | A customer changed an order |
Emails to your visitors
- Order confirmed: the receipt a shop customer gets after paying, with download links for digital products.
- Form visitors see your success message or redirect; Webmarlin does not email them.
If an email does not arrive, check the spam folder first. Form entries are always stored under Forms, so a lost summary email never loses a submission.
